Recovering in the mountains
We finally got to our Colorado cabin a couple of weeks ago. This is the meadow in front of the cabin. It's a great place to recover. We had a forest fire here two years ago, so the land itself is recovering. We're quite the pair.
Pat, it strikes me that this picture would make a beautiful painting, too! I really love it that you are painting and love the sunflowers in your latest blog post!
Thanks, Phyllis. I get intimidated by painting the mountain full on. In the sunflowers painting, it is in the background. Here, it is a focal point. I guess I feel a responsibility to it to get it right, and that is difficult. :) Still, this could be fun to tru. Thanks for the support, as always.
